This Privacy Policy applies to the ABIE MAE BEAUTY Artist App (also called Behind the Brush) on iOS, Android, and the web at artist.abiemaebeauty.com. It is a private workforce and contractor operations app for ABIE artists and staff. It is not a public consumer booking marketplace.
ABIE MAE BEAUTY operates the app. Privacy questions: support@abiemaebeauty.com or the in-app Support page.
We collect information you provide and information created while you use the app. Data is sent to ABIE systems over HTTPS.
Account and profile: name, email, phone, date of birth, mailing address, emergency contact name and phone, and profile photo. Accounts are created by ABIE management. Artists activate an existing roster account and set a password.
Photos and files: profile photos, finished-work photos, close-out documentation, support attachments, and images sent in team or client chat. These leave the device and are stored for operations.
Messages and support: team chat, client-related messages, and support tickets you submit, including any attachments.
Scheduling: assigned appointments and, if you enable device-calendar sync, busy/free time ranges only. Event titles and details stay on your device.
Device and notifications: a push token (APNs on iOS, FCM on Android) tied to your artist account so we can send work notifications.
Payroll and tax: payout information shown in the app and tax documents you submit, including electronic W-9 / taxpayer identification data, are stored for payroll and legal compliance.
We do not use advertising identifiers, do not sell personal information, and do not run third-party advertising or cross-app tracking in the Artist App.
To operate artist scheduling, assignment offers, chat, close-out, support, payroll visibility, and tax documentation.
To send operational notifications about offers, schedule changes, payroll, and team messages.
To keep records required for booking, payment, payroll, tax, safety, and audit obligations.
We use infrastructure and processors needed to run the app, including web hosting, database and file storage, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android, and payment processors used for client payments and artist payouts. These providers receive only what is needed to perform that work.
GoHighLevel / ICP may receive operational mirrors used to run ABIE workflows. We do not share Artist App data with advertising networks.
We use HTTPS and access controls appropriate for a workforce operations app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
We retain account, booking, payment, payroll, tax, safety, and audit records as long as needed to operate the business and meet legal obligations. Requesting account deletion does not automatically erase those records.
You can update profile details in the app. You can deny camera, photos, notifications, or calendar permission; some features will not work without them.
To request account deletion or removal of login access, use Settings → Request Account Deletion, submit a signed-in support ticket, or email support@abiemaebeauty.com. After verification, login access can be removed. Booking, payment, payroll, tax, safety, and audit records may be retained.
This app is for adult artists and staff. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
